We treat:

  • Rotator cuff and tendon repairs
  • Spinal surgeries and lumbar decompressions
  • Fracture recovery and hardware removal
  • Chronic joint pain and overuse injuries
  • Arthritis-related stiffness and mobility loss

Whether you’re an athlete returning to sport, a professional going back to work, or simply looking to move without pain again, our orthopedic physical therapy services in Edmonds are designed to meet your needs.

What to Expect During Your Rehab Journey

Your recovery starts with a thorough assessment of your condition, surgical history, and movement patterns. From there, we develop a custom rehabilitation program that includes:

  • Manual therapy to restore mobility and reduce soft tissue restrictions
  • Strength training tailored to your recovery timeline
  • Balance and gait retraining for stability and coordination
  • Neuromuscular re-education to correct compensatory patterns
  • Pain management, including deep tissue laser therapy

Each session is guided by your dedicated physical therapist, who monitors progress, adjusts treatment techniques, and keeps you motivated throughout the process.

Why Post-Surgical Rehab Is Critical

The weeks and months following surgery are a critical window to restore function and prevent long-term complications. With skilled physical therapy, you can:

Speed up recovery and return to activity faster

Minimize post-operative pain and swelling

Improve joint range of motion and flexibility

Reduce the risk of re-injury or further surgery

Even years after surgery, our team can help resolve lingering limitations and help you regain full function. We’ve seen patients regain confidence in their movement, return to hobbies they love, and experience daily life with greater ease and independence.

In addition to physical improvements, post-surgical rehab plays a vital role in boosting mental well-being. The process of reclaiming physical capability can dramatically improve confidence, reduce anxiety, and increase overall life satisfaction.
