Premier Balance

Movement-Driven Fall Prevention for Strength and Independence

Premier Balance

A Wellness Program Built for Stability

Losing balance doesn’t have to be part of aging. Premier Balance is our small-group, cash-based balance and fall-prevention class designed to help you move more freely, feel more secure, and stay independent for life.

This 50-minute class is a welcoming space for adults who want to stay active and mobile without the fear of falling. We focus on the everyday skills that support confident movement — indoors, outdoors, and out in the world.

What Is Premier Balance?

Premier Balance is a movement-forward program led by certified instructors trained in balance, posture, and fall prevention. Each class includes progressive exercises designed to:

  • Improve stability and coordination
  • Strengthen hips, legs, feet, and core
  • Enhance posture and reduce stiffness
  • Practice stepping, walking, and navigating real-world terrain
  • Sharpen quick reactions for sudden changes or missteps

It’s not just about standing tall — it’s about moving confidently through life.

Is This Program Right for You?

This small-group class is ideal for adults who:

Feel Off Balance

Struggling with unsteadiness or slower walking in daily life

Want to Prevent Falls

Focused on reducing the risk of future injuries

Move with Difficulty

Experience stiffness, trouble turning, or navigating uneven ground

Need a Safe Boost

Looking to build strength and mobility in a supportive way

Value Independence

Motivated to stay active, confident, and self-reliant

Don’t Need Formal PT

Would benefit from expert guidance without needing rehab

There’s no fitness experience required. Movements are always modified to meet your comfort and ability.

When It’s Not the Right Fit

Premier Balance is structured for independent adults who can safely participate in small-group sessions. It’s not suitable for those who:

  • Fall frequently (more than 1–2 times per month)
  • Cannot walk on their own, even with a cane
  • Have significant dizziness or new balance issues
  • Recently underwent major surgery affecting mobility
  • Have unstable health conditions that make exercise unsafe
  • Need one-on-one help to stand, transfer, or walk

If that sounds like you, our Orthopedics and Post-Surgical Rehab program might be a better starting point — and we’d be glad to help you choose the right path.

WHAT YOU’LL EXPERIENCE

Each 50-minute session includes:

  • Guided balance work tailored to your ability level
  • Strength exercises for key lower-body muscles
  • Gentle mobility and posture-focused movement
  • Step, walk, and turn practice for everyday life
  • Light reactive drills to train safer movement in the real world

Our environment is supportive, relaxed, and paced just right. Expect individual attention within a small group of peers who share your goals.

Why Balance Training Matters

Balance isn’t static — it’s how your body responds to the world around it. Investing in your balance now can:

  • Lower your risk of falls and injury
  • Improve gait, coordination, and confidence
  • Keep you active at home and in the community
  • Support joint health as you age
  • Reduce fear and increase mobility freedom

This isn’t just about prevention — it’s about living better.

The Premier Balance Philosophy

Our program reflects a simple belief: better balance builds a better life. This isn’t high-intensity training or medical rehab. It’s intentional, accessible movement that supports the activities you love — walking, gardening, hiking, or simply keeping up with life.

We don’t just train muscles. We support the systems that keep you moving.

Getting Started

Premier Balance is offered once weekly as a cash-based wellness class. No referral or insurance is needed — just a desire to move with greater strength and steadiness.

We proudly serve active adults at our Edmonds location and across the greater Seattle area.
